The full arms sale, of over $20 billion, was notified in November 2016. This means it had already been authorized by congress and the executive branch, when President Obama was in office, before the Trump administration came into office.

The political landscape/foreign affairs is a complex beast. No, he really can't just say nevermind. Too many people receive money from these foreign countries. This deal is a lot bigger than Trmp. The media just needed a juicy headline to get clicks. It is third grade journalism (sadly it is now the norm). I don't like the guy at all, but I can distance myself from the right vs left bullshit and see the middle ground.

The news didn't make a big deal of this story in November. We are all puppets in this game. That is why I pay my insane taxes and healthcare and try to live my life. Doesn't matter who is in charge. Washington has been raped. The federal govenment is a joke.
