Those who served, are serving and who paid the ultimate price did so for Freedom. The freedom to kneel during the national anthem to protest senseless police killings and racial inequality.

but bro it's different because black people were slaves...

yea but if i said "black people are good at basketball". i think some people would say that's a racist stereotype even though it's said in a complimentary manner. i just think there is a double standard sometimes that i'd rather avoid.

and i didn't say his "hardcore base". i said his supporters in general. most of them probably agree with him.

but give some of us "white people" some credit. there is a huge number of whites in this country that absolutely do not agree with him on this issue.

When black people riot in the streets white people say, "They should protest peacefully". So black people then peacefully take a knee during the national anthem and then white people say, "No, Not like that".

There is a 97 year old WWII veteran taking a knee. He said he fought for their right to do this. This is America. This is the rational way to look at this.

America just has a problem with people of color demanding to be heard. Think Ali during Vietnam annd Smith and Carlos. It always has.
I agree with both of your points but I have an issue with 1 thing.

You guys say things like "white people" and "America has a problem with people of color".

I don't think that's fair. Just become some white people agree with trump on this issue does not mean all white people or the entire country agrees. To me it's almost racist to phrase it like you guys are phrasing it.

Don't lump us all into 1 group. I do not agree with trump or the people that agree with him. I know plenty of white people who also strongly disagree with trump on this. So please don't lump us all into 1 group.

I'd rather you say "his base" or "his supporters" instead of "white people".
