At the moment, I'm pretty impressed with the courage of his conviction. He has donated millions to the causes he has stood for, and has generally conducted himself with eloquence and dignity. Tommy Smith and John Carlos were reviled in their time, their lives and careers destroyed. I suspect history will treat Kaepernick far more honorably than the present has.

thing is, the message isn't really having any sort of impact in terms of changing anything. it's hitting the NFL hardest with ratings drops and something like 75% of NFL watchers now believe its about disrespecting the flag. in other words his message has been completely lost on most people.

And it wont until they start taking care of it them selves.. that's the thing..they wanna blame everyone, but they don't accept responsibility for their actions. police yourself first..get your shit together..then you have a bases for an argument. How many of them multi million dollar sports players are really putting their money where there mouth is to help where its needed.(some do but its a very small percentage)..not many. Instead they choose to life like they are still ghetto and flaunt what they have.. stand together to creat controversy, be more divisive and then blame everyone else..when it don't work...LOL
