I suppose I'm looking at how the Republicans are trying their hardest not to have any sort of investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh other than the he said/she said debacle yesterday and that raises a big red flag for me. Classmates and roommates are coming forward now saying Kavanaugh blatantly lied yesterday.

i'm all for an FBI investigation that doesn't stop or delay the process. put him in the seat based on current evidence and approve an FBI investigation capped at 1 month long. if they find anything extraordinary that proves his guilt than he can be stripped of his title.

but the dems aren't there because they care about dr ford. fientein couldn't give 2 fucks. they are there to delay and roadblock the process at all costs to keep the balance of power from swaing more towards the GOP.

Some Dems probably are acting as you suggest but I am certain a lot of Dems are concerned about Dr. Ford's allegations and are truly concerned about the character of Kavanaugh.

the investigation could have been done privately for how long while that fienstein rat sat on the paper? how long bro? 2 months? but no. she sat on it until the last minute and then "somehow" the info was leaked. are you seriously so biased you can't see this shit? it's clear as fucken day to me. the GOP offered to go to her in cali yet somehow she was "unaware". About he FBI thing.
1: a 35 year old accusation, which is out of the statute of limitations and would have been a local police department issue anyway, is not the FBI's jurisdiction.
2: Kavenaugh has already been thouroughly investigated by the FBI 6 times to gain high level security clearance where they looked into his past as far back as high school and he listed all the people he interacted with.
3: the FBI has stated they don't have anything to say about the matter
4. The reason the FBI investigated the Clarence Thomas accusation was, he and the accusor we're both federal employees and the occurrence of the supposed assault was on federal property.

Simply out there is no criminal case here. Aka no FBI. This is "he said she said" with zero eveidence and zero witnesses. The character assassination attempt is so blatantly obvious, you'd have to be blind not to see it.

It looks like Feinstines motives may have been shady but there are a lot of other Democrats out there that would have handled things differently than she did. But whatever her motives were we are at where we are now and that does not excuse how the Republicans as a whole are acting.

I'm agreeing with you on that point. I'm saying the Republicans are going out of their way to not investigate, where is Mark Judge's subpoena?

If the investigation was prompted when the allegations came about it would have likely been over by now. Republicans are going out of there way to not investigate.
