lets talk about people who truly give back to the world. lets talk about Bill and Melinda and whatever the fuck the guys name is that owns ikea. those people are true heros. soros is politically driven to push an agenda. the people i mentioned are genuinely helping the world without hidden motive. soros is a political turd burger. any good he does is for his own gain.

        • Lindsey Graham is the man. Watched them early today, he seems to be the smart one!
He goes off the facts, doesnt let them get distorted and asks the questions no one asks or doesnt want in the spot light. He makes sense..

          • This isnt about her ,it isnt about him.
this is about one thing, keeping trump from getting who he wants in that seat.
They will discredit, humiliate, and destroy both those peoples lives and not think twice about it as long as they get the outcome they want.

this doesn't really apply to trump or politics. this is more about "the rich" vs "the poor" and how we view this argument.

As long as there are uneducated people there will always be others to take advantage of them. People from across history have been trying to solve this problem from the beginning and they've all come to this same conclusion.. Education.

Trouble is education is something the individual chooses to do, you cannot force people to learn. "Education" doesn't mean you need an expensive degree from a university either. education simply means having the desire to learn. to seek knowledge. this is by no means hard for poor people to do if they have the desire.

the guy that lives under a bridge was not "robbed" by the rich. the guy under the bridge is there because of his choices. he robbed himself. on the other side of the spectrum you made the right choices in life, you worked your ass off to get where you are. should you feel guilty that you are in the top 1%? do you feel you owe the guy under the bridge anything? you have what you have because you made it happen. you did not rob the guy under the bridge. you deserve everything you have because you earned it. that's my view on "the rich vs "the poor".

                • It's part of the grand plan, Avid. GOP have been having wet dreams about cutting SS, Medicare and Medicaid for a long time. The 2 step plan is simple - first, jack up military spending and tax cuts (to the insanely wealthy and corporations, of course) and create a gigantic deficit, then say hey we need to cut other spending to stop the bleeding, so cut social programs.

Social programs already take up 59% of the annual budget. Military spending is only 16%. If you ask me they are all too much spending. IMO social programs need to be at the state level. All powers not enumerated by the Constitution are to go to the States. So if you want strong social programs, bring it up to the state level, and pay the taxes required but not everybody feels the same. Make California or Oregon socialist I don't care, I just won't live there. Just don't give the federal government the power to control it.

                    • The Southern and Southeastern states are already moochers that are living off the largesse of states like California and many of them are at near third-world status for human development metrics. If all welfare spending is state level, the South might as well have seceded, because they are going to look like a third world country.

i forgot to congratulate you on your new show bro! liberal wars!

scrum the truth can always be found between 2 extremes. the ultra conservative right wing whackos are on one side. you are on the other. you even described yourself as an "extreme liberal" once.. think about that... An "extreme" stance doesn't allow anyone to see a clear unbiased viewpoint on any subject.

                                that was funny for sure.

BUT. why is there no outcry for bill mahyer or whatever his name is talking about Lindsey's dead boyfriend Mccain. if a republican had made those comments he would have been labeled a homophobe and destroyed for making fun of the dead.. they would be calling for him to step down immediately. hypocrisy and double standards are strong with the dems..
