Meh, nbd. She's learned and evolved since then.

LOL at these idiots who hold her to a higher standard than the congressmen who have been in DC for decades and still can't get anything right. When's the last time you've seen one of these articles on the foreign policy knowledge of Paul Ryan or Mitch Mcconnell?

Look at her positions now. She's got more great ideas and energy than the rest of Congress put together. Centrist Democrats are going to do their best to destroy he because she is going after their cozy relationships with lobbyists, energy firms, defense contractors, etc. Just watch.

Tell me honestly, you would rather have Joe Crowley and Pelosi running the show? They and the rest of the centrist Dem establishment are totally in the pockets of the lobbyists. This Is why we'll have some watered down crap if people like this new group didn't come along to hold their feet to the fire. And don't even mention the Republicans, they are even worse in terms of corruption.

Along come a fresh group of people who refuse to take a single corporate dollar I their campaigns and all everyone does - the fat cat pols, the press, is to try to chop them down. Ocasio-Cortez asked the right question- do you want people who took money from the oil companies drafting environmental legislation? Do you want people who took money from the drug companies and the insurance industry involved with healthcare reform? What do you think? You're happy with Cory Booker who got half a million from the NJ drug companies working on healthcare legislation? You think he's going to do what's good for the People?

Or should politicians that refuse to take any corporate dollars, that are not beholden to any corporate interest, should they be the ones leading the charge?

I know what I would prefer.

Trump came in with a bunch of promises to drain the swamp. It would have been great if he had actually done so. Tell me one area where he has actually done that. The swamp now just has newer and scarier monsters.

Tell me, you really preferred Crowley to win that seat? That guy is a living breathing example of a swamp inhabitant.

Unemployment is low for sure but the problem is that real wages haven't gone up in a long time. This a huge problem- people are working harder but can hardly make ends meet.

The other issue is that whatever wage growth there is has been to the wealthy. The lower 50% of workers have seen little to no increase.

                      Read about it.

                      http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...d-for-decades/

This huge wealth inequity gap is what people like Bernie are trying to go after. Because right now, there is a tremendous transfer of wealth from the middle and lower economic classes to the people at the top. The 1%ers are literally robbing the rest of the country right under our noses.

These also way less people on welfare and food stamps..thats right lower class people working again in America..not living off government paving roads building houses digging ditches..working class people. Not being dependant on someone else..you think that's not good? You can't give any credit can you? Yet the last president had more people living with their parents because they couldn't get a job..couldn't afford food..rent cars...but now they can...but hey..still never enough right? Lowest black unemployment in history... Obama had the highest...but still the white nationalist racist can't get a damn ya know what...he did help people get back on their feet and regain some Independence off the damn government...unfucking real...this is the problem in America...we are taking steps in the right direction....but it's still wrong...fucking joke.

Scrum, the self loathing 1%er. You can make a difference scrum, go ahead and send me your wallet! Lol what is this land of the free home of the bureaucratically controlled capped wages? I never hear anything about market-based ideas to bring up lower wages all I hear about is taking it from other people that have made it and straight-up giving it to people with no consequences.

First it's Healthcare shouldn't be a profit based industry because it's an essential service. Well that's just the beginning. Transportation is an essential service, is that next? Nobody should be able to profit in transportation? What's after that you can make a damn good argument that entertainment is essential to Human Mental Health so I guess we better not make entertainment a profit based industry either. We can keep going down this line, there is no end until you have your full on socialism and that's not what this country was founded on.
