Sigh, you got me Bounce...I read all two pages of this lol. I found my bullshit meter pegged and it was extremely fucking funny---Except the part about your elevated heart rate. Your supplements can be a significantly contributing factor, as can elevated blood pressure and/or dehydration. I am sure you know all this shit, but it bears repeating..I generally don't post unless I feel its worth typing.

I think you should try and establish a baseline heart rate and bp..keep a log, and also come off any stimulants if you can. I say if, because I realize that life in general often requires coffee, an energy drink, NoExplode, whatever your poison. I deal with this alot in my line of work and I will tell you the same thing I tell everyone else. Your heart is a pump, like any pump it only gets so many cycles of use (heartbeats) before it wears out. Everyone is different but like a pump if you run it at top speed constantly, your going to wear it out sooner. Figure out whats up with your pump. In your shape, all fat and stuff;) you should have a significantly lower BP. Just MHO :)

30 minutes post workout. Had c4 about 90 minutes ago.

Sitting in the car for 10 minutes and just recorded a resting hr of 88.

Absolutely the drink. No wonder I feel like hell when I come down.

20 minutes post workout: 102 bpm

15 minutes out of bed: 61 bpm

How sad is it that after all these years of using preworkout drinks I never paid attention to my heart rate. I knew it was elevated. Never realized how much.

I'm glad this all surfaced. Made me more aware.

I think you're right. You don't need all those stimulants. Bad news.
