Thank you for the simple sugar idea for the perwork out meal. Now can you give me a few examples of simple sugars I can use in with my protein shake.

Thanks Big man...you know what's funny about this post. It is soooo normal. I am one of those strange types that can break down a daily intake to the last gram. But I over think it...like to the point that I use not having a meat scale to NOT eat correctly.
This post is funny becaues it adds the simplicity that many of us need to see. No secrets, no special sauce (of sorts), no magic powder... just the basics. It is a nice slap in the face to some one like me. It takes the self dedication to get up and take an extra 15 min here and there to do it right. This thread shines a light on me...I yell at so many people that come to me and "want a work out" but wont put forth any effort. It just feels like a waste of time.
WELP--that sounds a lot like me with my diet.
so again ... thank you again for the post

between the 2 of us, we spend about $100/week on food.Originally posted by meat12
Question Bouncer, about how much do you spend on food a week?...just curious
this does not count the protein shakes...
we buy from costco in bulk - and it's really mainly chicken, beef, and eggs.
chicken comes in 5lb bags that are frozen and $13/bag. beef is usually $20/2 pieces of london broil sized top round steak. eggs are $5.50/7.5dozen.
if you eat clean, it really isn't that expensive.
what is expensive is when we cheat on the weekends :D
