  • What to eat when waking up at night to piss

I dont know if this has been answered before but I am looking for something quick to slam down when I wake up in the middle of the night to piss while bulking... i have been hitting up some whey and natural pb in a blender then drinking it but it it to the point now that by the time i blend it and rinse the blender im wide awake and have trouble going back to sleep... i was considering those 11oz Muscle milk RTDs that I could grab and slam in 6 seconds then hit the sack again =) Any thoughts?

nothing. eating in the middle of the night after you have gone to sleep is a bad idea. your body wants to rest. eating gets the digestive system going etc.. have a slow digesting protein before bed and that is it.

what is a good source of casein besides cottage cheese? Currently I am eating two muscle milk pudding cups right before bed, which has casein and whey total 40g protein

Then why do you need to eat in the middle of the night?

How about a casein shake instead of whey pudding?

Because I feel hungry when i wake up and I have read that eating a mid night snack helps with anabolism

Fuck that. Every time I taste or smell cottage cheese I want to puke, but I eat a half a cup every night. Just put a decent sized bite in, and immediately chase it with a big mouthful of water. Swish it around your mouth a while to break it up, then swallow it all real fast. I promise you wont taste it, and there is no way in hell you dislike cottage cheese any more than I do.

it really dosent. it just screws with the bodies balance. like i said, a slow digesting protein and some healthy fats before bed is your best bet.

drink water and go back to sleep. most of the time your body is craving water but it's misinterpreted as hunger.
