its not thick. It does get gritty and you have to eat the the chunks of oatmeal. Not bad tasting.

wonder if cooked oats would be better, but it defeats the whole purpose i guess

Raw egg whites are not good for you. Body cannot utilize the raw egg.

You need to denature the proteins by cookin it

                        Try this one

                        chocolate whey powder
1 cup rolled oats (un cooked)
                        1 bannana
                        1 tb spoon flax oil
1 or 2 tb spoons natty peanut butter
water or milk with ice and mix I use about 14 oz of water for the thickness I like you will have to mess with yours for yourself.

I have this every morning for the last 5 years or so. 30 mins later I eat 6 egg whites and 2 eggs

i find the quick oats blends much better.

50g whey protein blend - vanilla bsn syntha-6
                          v8 vfusion, water or milk
                          yogart, banana, or berries
                          1/2 cup rolled quick oats
pb, olive oil, flax is nasty

I can't do the quick or the rolled. Sonis can do the quick...just too chunky for any sort of drink, IMO. I gag.
