This seemed so easier when I was 20 and could throw whatever I wanted in my body and stay lean as long as I hit the weights and did some cardio.

Thanks B. I'll get some PB in my first meal and then fat with cottage cheese before bed time

cardio does nothing for me except burn muscle. as a matter of fact, if i do cardio my body holds onto fat and burns muscle. lmao.

much better for me to just eat clean and my muscle stay full and i burn fat.

I am a naturally chubby fuck when I do nothing. Up until about 21 or 22, I could eat and drink anything as long as I stayed with 3 days of cardio and hit the gym as I do now still.

Now, on the other hand, if I look at pizza or fried foods, i put on 5lbs.

Carb cycling is a science, and it's the science of how you personally respond to it - if you are like B - don't even bother, shit he obviously found what works for him. For me if i just up my protein 1/2 gram intake and my fats are fine, I will drop fat like crazy and retain no problem. Awhile back I asked how long should I stay keto when I was really trying to drop lbs fast, and I was at 3 weeks and I had constant nagging head aches .. grumpy etc ... I learned then that at 3 weeks it's time to start taking my protein down to 1 gram per lb bodyweight, not lbm, and stick at 250 grams of carbs from oatmeal, sweet potatoes and whole grain bread (love sandwhiches after living off foreman). This has worked very well for me, but that's MY body, we are all our own guinea pigs, be it diet or AAS.

              i am 5'10 and a half almost 5'11
haha - dude I can jog for like an hour and not have any problem, I do deadlifts by my third set my lungs just about give in. It's again just how my body works. I've dropped my weight on deads, and rows for that matter and focus on breathing better, much better results in two weeks flat.

Bread is definitely a no no for me. My carbs must come from brown rice, yams, and oatmeal as sources. I am extremely sensitive to carbs. But the above 3 don't hit me to bad.

See, there you have it, you know your body - i love threads like this, everyone is so different and it shows - if you are willing to find what works for you and train correctly.. it works, period.

I have relatives who are twins (fraternal) and bodies react completely different to food. One is larger and other leaner.

My paradox right now is I know what works for my body. But my training of my mind (LSAT, school) is also important. I got away with 50-60 grams of carbs when I only had classes. Prepping for my LSAT is a different beast. It is nearly a 4 hour test. The last two weeks before my official exam I am throwing carbs way up to ensure my mind is right, my body be damned for those few weeks. It is the next 6 weeks I want to try to find a balance where I can study and still stay lean. Maybe B can throw some of his genetics this way :weights:

I have gone down to about 50g during my UD2.0 carb cycle depletion days. It took me a bit of getting used to but I didn't have any adverse symptoms once I got used to it. Going below 50g is not necessary in terms of depleting muscle or liver glycogen.

You are about 10-15 lbs of muscle more than I would think I'd feel comfy at that bodyfat trying to do what I want, but I'm also 6'1 so not sure, gonna have to play it as it goes.
I am no expert on this, but from what I have read, I think RIP will kill you if you are anywhere north of 200 lbs.
