  • Breakfast! What did you eat this morning?

    I think more then any other meal, breakfast seems to stay the same for most people. I pretty much have the same shake every morning. Only thing that changes is the fruit in the shake. Went with blueberries today. I like the instant flavored oatmeal in my breakfast shake, more flavor and I need the sugar.

    2 scoops protein, 1 cup blueberries, 1 packet instant oatmeal, ice and water, blend.

    So what did you peeps eat today?

    1 cup grits, 8oz grape juice, and 2 scoops protein (in water)

      you could do all that in a blender too no? i dont know if grits are like oats where you can just blend them up uncooked?

                Same every day.

                1. Black coffee
                2. 2 scoops of whey protein
                3. 2 slices of whole wheat bread with almond butter

                    even that sandwich has no more then 15 grams of incomplete protein.

                      I can fix breakfast, but mid morning snack has to be simple and fast. I have been brining my lunch and then drinking a shake in the afternoon. Dinners are usually good also.

                        pb sandwhich still dont cut it as far as protein goes bro. have another shake with it if you have to.

                          I go back to school in 2 weeks, it is going to mess my schedule up. I know whole food is king, but do you think I can just supplement with a bunch of shakes? Mon-Fri is going to be wild. 5:30-6:00 I will be gone with 2 hours of that is driving.

                          Any tips are appreciated.

                            if it comes down to you either skipping meals or having a bunch of shakes, go with the shakes! absolutely bro, shakes are superior to skipping meals all together. then when your home of have time eat real food. just make sure your getting protein every 2-3 hours.

                              cool. I can make that happen. Just blend up a batch of shakes every night. Just sucks that most of the classes are 3 hours. I will try to make or find a good bar to sneak eat in class. Gotta eat big to be big. I just always worry about using shakes too much, but I guess it is much better then skipping meals.

                              Appreciate the help here and the training advice. Started doing what you said for chest and molded my other days around that same kind of rep range. First week had gone good. I must dial in my eating.

                              Milk ever in a shake ot strictly water?
