It heats really well, so I used it to cook my delicious pancake. A lot of people love it over popcorn, but I've never tried it. I've brushed it over vegetables before I roast them. You can use it in place of olive oil for a lot of things, just remember it's going to have a "flavor." It's great for your hair and skin, too.
just cut up 2 chicken breast and half an onion and cooked it in 2 tbsp of the coconut oil served over a cup of rice. really really good. adds a completely different element to my normally boring chicken and rice meals.
But another technique is called 'oil pulling'. Look it up if interested. I do it here and there if my sinuses are stuffed up. It basically pulls out all the garbage/ mucus and at the end you feel like a champ (clear minded and can breathe again). Plus it makes your teeth whiter and keeps your gums healthy/ strong.
