Gonna do HIT cardio again today but this time test the lower back mildly by using the rowing machine first before moving on to other cardio equipment.
The logic here is to gently engage the lower back and core and open up the blood flow over a sustained period down there.
With each gentle stroke it will stretch the vertebrea a little and close them in again. Very gentle but sustained.

No because I have a focus, getting better, it's more a case of having something to go after for me. As long as I feel like I'm achieving

Do you find that you're more insecure not being at your best? I ask because that's how I feel whenever I'm not operating at 100%.

About five months and even now I'm just doing cardio and mobility stuff a couple times a week. I've had the odd chest session here or there but nothing to really induce hypertrophy
It's all still there tbh just flat

How long were you out of the gym? Just curious how much muscle you maintained.
Now that I cannot workout I'm keeping my diet extremely strict. I'm hoping having abs popping will help me mentally. :D

Wow that's an interesting insight. Anyone that has back issues has a slightly different situation. I guess we are all born with slightly different backs. I think that where my prolapse occurred There has always probably been a tendency and it's occurred before but to a much lesser extent.Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostI get this done every 10 months or so. I think the steroid injection is the first step. The second step is wear they burn the nerve ending. It really helps! But the nerve eventually heals, that's way I have to go back every 10 months sometime it lasts a year.
Thank you very much for contributing and sharing your experience because it really helps others including me.
When you train now is there a specific strategy that works for you and do you undertake preventative PT incorporated in your routine in any way.
I found this really helped me along, you have the freedom to do hip thrusts in different positions without gravity pushing down. I know I look shit I haven't trained per se in five monthsLast edited by Mr I; 04-07-16, 11:35 AM.

This is the procedure in quick time, I'm fucking excited as grim as it looks if it eventually takes the pain from my leg. No more fucking tablets

So my back is still ok so far but I couldn't sleep a wink because my leg was agony, if I sit up with legs on floor the pain goes but if I lye flat all the pain in knee and shin comes back.
Hopefully this shit is jumping around before it goes

You know it's strange but I've had something like that happen before. Get relief from 1 thing and then something else pops up immediately. Had me wondering if all my issues were
psychosomatic.

Well its past 1 am and I can't sleep because as soon as I lye down and presumably some blood and water leaves my lower leg my front shin muscle is agony
FFS only just got relief from. The back ha

Lightweight now
My plan is now to build myself from the inside out in the following priority;
1) keep inflamation away and not agravate
2) stability/mobility
3) endurance/fitness
4) build strength strategically and carefully around main joints;abs, low back, hips, gluten and legs
5) physique building
I will be trying not to sacrifice any of the first 4 for 5.
It's pathetic that my knee and shin are hurting two days after cardio but the cardio was legs only elliptical without resting arms so all using the core to balance but with that, bikes and treadmill my hr was 150-170 for 30 mins so I'm improving my fitness you see also

Today is the first day I'm pretty much pain free in the back!!
I did 30 mins intense cardio two days ago and yesterday my back got real stuff and had a different burning pain. Must have done something different but today it's let go and us better than ever before.
Except my left knee and shin are killing me, but I think that's just the switch in activity
Cardio is definitely a healer at this ppint as it uses all the small muscles that balance you in harmony.
