Do you feel like this will potentially fix the problem? Or is it sort of a temporary relief that will return when the injection effects fades away?
-
All in all at this point I would definitely recommend ESI epidural steroid injection if you have chronic sciatica, over going straight for surgery

One thing I have noticed. I'm sad to say it but since I've come down from 250 or so to 235 because I'm not really training so my appetite is gone. Well everyone keeps saying how much better I look haha

Ok so, it's been ten days since my cortisone epidural.
They say it's effect peaks about this time and hopefully lasts a good while.
Well, I woke up slow and in some pain but again better than a couple days previous. Monday this week I saw the osteo and he said there was alot more play/movement between the vertebrea. This week I've been feeling annoyed. This is a good sign for me as it means I'm out from under it, and starting to dominate it. It's the same if I get sick, to begin with I feel sorry for myself but when I'm coming out the hole I get angry because I have the mental and physical capacity to back it up.
Now today what took the edge was that after five days of only taking Tylenol where needed. I was pissed off in the que at the shop and bought some asprin. O hadn't taken any Tylenol yet today.
Well the asprin virtually took out the rest of the nagging pain completely!! And thus afternoon and evening I've bee walking around in the house like normal.
so its virtually gone with asprin.
Now I have a theory - the blood vessels that supply that area are very small. Asprin thins the blood...

No such thing as "American pitbull". It's American Staffordshire Terrier or just Pitbull.Originally posted by Mr I View PostIs the first one what you would call an American pitbull or just a pitbull
The big bulky mixed breeds are called "American Bully's". A mixed group of bully breeds like pitbulls mixed with bull mastiff etc..

and much more functional. the mixed version has tons of health issues and they are lazy as fuck. real pits are working dogs that can go all day long. the American bully mix gets winded taking a piss. they are bred strictly for the look of size and everything else be damned. They come only from "backyard breeders" usually from the deep south.

Most people don't actually know what a Putbull is. If your thinking of one of those huge stocky dogs that looks like a pitbull your confused. Those dogs are a mix of a pitbull and a mastiff. The "Hulk" pitbull famous on the internet is the perfect example of this. A pure bred pitbull is much leaner and much more athletic. A real pit will run circles around one of these mixed bully breeds.Originally posted by Mr I View PostThat's not what I thought was a pit but I take your point it's a widely used term.

"Pitbull" is a wide ranging description of a group of dogs. American Staffordshire Terror falls under that category. The English Staffordshire Bull terrier is much smaller than what I have. The English version weighs at max 40lbs, far smaller than the American counterpart.
So while I have an Amstaff it would also be classified as a "pitbull" by law enforcment or the media if she ever did anything wrong.

Might not look like much but those little legs can pull a dead elephant through a swamp if need be. Lol
