That is exactly what I said, I believe it to be true, It has nothing to do with my sexual preferences or anything else. I am an Atheist. Religion needs to get the hell out of this topic....I am so sick of people trying to interject religion into this, when it is such a controversial issue. There is no clear cut right or wrong when it comes to religion and how it pertains to this topic. It's a moot point, and doesn't add anything of value to this topic. So, please let's stick to real life tangible reason's why you feel people should or should not express their individuality about their homosexuality, which was what the original question was when this thread was opened.

Tons of people in the good ol' USA do not believe in your christian "god" for there are many other religions just as valid as yours under the laws of this country.

Homosexuality is not some trivial lifestyle choice. For most all of us, it's hardwired in at birth. What makes you think that anyone would choose to be discriminated against, abused or killed by homophobes?

That hardwiring means that no amount of "re-education" by fundamentalist wingnuts is going to change anything.

I work in media. In general, radio is in the hands of Clear Channel, which has close ties to the Bush Administration. Not liberal. CBS and NBC are owned by major defense contractors. Not liberal. Quit believing stupid myths, OK?

I'm a 50 year old bodybuilder who appears to be straight. It doesn't bother me a bit is anyone objects to some obscure gay symbol on my car. That's who I am.

So, how does a gay person, flaming or straight appearing diminish your life in any way?

Can YOU choose to become GAY? I doubt it....same goes for gay people, they cant CHOOSE to be straight.
And what does it bother anyone what gay people do in their bedroom???? I am more afriad of child molestors and rapists than I will EVER be of a gay person (and im not afraid of gay people, just to clarify that!) :)
