Doom, I live just outside of Buffalo, about a 20 minute ride from the Falls. What hick town was this anyhow? The thing is, the scales thing to prove intent to sell is ludicrous (unless they found residue on it) because lots of people have them and use them for things other than drugs. Hell, I have a set somewhere around and I don't use that kind of thing. A lot of people use that type of scale to measure portions of food (as in weightwatchers dieting plans), shotgun pellets for reloading shells (gunpowder measurements too- for recartridging), and all sorts of things.

It is at best, circumstantial evidence and again- as long as there is no incriminating residue from drugs on it- reasonable grounds for appeal on the conviction of intent to sell. Tell him to hire an attorney named Paul Cambria. He is one of the best lawyers to fight for clients when it comes to questionable police practices and resides in Buffalo, NY. Keep us updated if you can. Take care.

Oh, I know what ur saying, and I dont you know you well, nor do you know me, and if you have a strong opinion, which I value, I will challenge you on it everytime. But I will advise something being narrow minded, its a stigma that will follow you. You ay think that the view you carry is broad, but when what you say is mall in comparison, it will draw the negativity that you dont want.

There are no hard feelings at all bro, its just a fucking shame that something that is harming no one but himself, will haunt him for the rest of his life. Its in the Rochester area, Canindagua(sp?) hes in the system already, I dont know what more can be done, but I will pass this attorneys name along to my aunt. This needs to be appleaded and reopened, as to why the fuck they went in that house with no probable cause or warrant for that matter

I agree, some of these drug laws are crazy. Ur right, someone can comitt murder and w/ a good lawyer be outy in 10yrs. But you get caught w/ some coke and have some priors they wanna through away the key. It just does not make sense to me. I am in recovery, and have seen too many of my old crew sent upstate for way to long for way too little.

IT wasnt that she ratted on him, they were getting fucked up, and had a wicked arguement, really late at night. I t was the neighbors that called the cops, they were outside of the house, the only thing the cops should have done was calm them down, and tell them to go back inside, not start doing some random check of the house.

This wasnt their first bad fight, all couple get them, but at 3am and instead of calming down she just kept yelling and cursing and this is the end result

theres alot of weird neighbors out there man. People used to think we use to deal here cause i always had people with me. Just because we looked mean and shit, but damn people dont know us , so they call cops and accuse us of shit. Most of the times, neighbors give out false claims, therefore giving the cops probacal cause or something.


This weekend my girlfriends lil bro was at some loco's house. Some gang there in or something. Some fucked up dude goes to the house. He was loaded with shit on him, the owner of the house wasnt there. Then the cops get there, talk to the dude and discover drugs on him. Then they go in and search the house and take people in cause they found shit. Sometimes some people are just plain bad luck. Thats why now i hang out with a selected few of people cause my old friends are pure bad luck. Ive gotten away from alot of trouble but they didnt, I call myself a lucky guy cause i could have been locked up for good.

In response to your earlier post about not being closed minded, well theres not much I can say. I don't think people should do drugs, but I also don't think I should enforce my beliefs upon anyone. So, what I am trying to say is, I don't do drugs, but I have many friends who do. If they get in trouble for it, tough shit. I'll do my best with the knowledge of law I have to help, but they took the risk, knowing it's illegal. And yes, I know there are a lot of things that are illegal that aren't as big a deal as other things(aka killing people), but if you know something is against the law, breaking the law is only a way to ensure that law is backed with even more money by more politicians to please the mean. So I guess another thing I am trying to say is, if you believe a law is wrong, breaking it isn't the way to make things better, they'll just get worse from it. Go out and protest, not just on an online forum.

I'm sure I'll read this later and think of shit I want to change or add. Until then, what said is said, I guess.

In New York State, even a suspected drunk driver's car can only be searched either by permission of the driver/owner or a search warrant, unless there is probable cause which means that contraband must be in plain sight of the officer(s). These actions are monitored by the video recorders in the squad cars which protects the suspects as much as the police. The only other way to "snoop" a car for drugs or explosives is to get a police dog. Technically, the dog is not IN the vehicle to be able to smell its prey but only needs to show interest and then probable cause is then established without invading the passenger compartment or trunk. Sneaky, huh?

If one of them were fucked up and blurted out "yeah" in response to a request by the cops to enter the house then the search would be valid. If there were children in the house at the time of the police visit and both parties were "under the influence", the search would also be valid due to concer for the welfare of a minor. Otherwise, they cannot enter without a warrant and anything illegal found as a result of the improper search would be thrown out as evidence. I was a criminal justice major in college, lol.

Canadaigua is a semi-resort area in the Finger Lakes region (wine country) between Rochester and Syracuse with summer tourists and stuff. If they don't live right in town, it was most likely either the Ontario County Sheriff's deputies or the NYS Troopers who arrived on site. The deputies are like wannabe troopers and from what I've heard, always want some "big city" action. That says a lot to me. Good luck on this thing.

thats what i told my friends. Like me Ive tried drugs back in high school but noticed it wasnt a thing for me. I prefer the good o'l beer over anything. But laws are laws. The reason they make these laws are because of alot of drug overdoses there have been and things like that. People killing others for drug money. Thats why it is illegal. But yeah I know drugs harm u bad. I had this best friend who was all pro and all, good football player. We grew up since pre-kinder, now u see the guy up to no good. Drugs turned his life around big time. Hes been to jail and back , joined a gang. His life is not the same and the way he acts and all. But that was his choice. I also got alot of buddies who are locked up and even some that have died as a result of drugs, either money or over-dosing.

Im the good guy that like to talk to people or help with whatever i can. Whether its relationship advice, money problems, serious things. Im like a safe, what ever u tell me , stays with me. I dont tell what people tell me. WHat im trying to say is that, people know whats wrong and whats right, once ur an adult its ur own judgement. Theres no more moma telling u whats wrong and right. Thats why i dont hang out with my old friends no more. Alot are doing time, I couldve been there too doing time also. But I was like to myself, what if i go in and dont come out in around 12 years just for something stupid i did. No person is going to wanna hire me, or even a girl who would want to marry me. Thats why i love the life im going right now. I got a girl to keep me straight. Cause if i lose her, Im losing a great person and there goes my life.
Also with roids, those shits are illegal. Why? because of the people who dont know how to use them. Mis-Using them leads to health problems. They are illegal as other hardcore drugs. But its up to us, to keep it a hush hush. Thats why i dont say shit no more, u never know it could be a damn fed or someting. Everything i keep to myself.
Thats why the mods here ban people cause of asking for sources. Not only people will scam u but u could get busted asking for shit in the open. It was a fight that shouldnt have escalted to the level that it did, and they knew what they were doing, and maybe she had underlying reasons for going on outside in a small ass town at 2 in the morning, who knows, but if someone was the cause of ur cousin to wind up in jail, how fond of them would you be?
Now I know youre gonna look for the good in everyone, and as Ive said before, this was his bride to be, the person you share the rest of your life with, you build a life with, and because she couldnt calm down and listen to reason, he spends the next decade in jail...do you understand that, or do I have to go into deeper detail?

It seems with everything I post about what I do and about my surroundings you have some form of rebuttle, it doesnt work that way, as Ive told you before with fighting, whats done is done, you cant change the past, you can only work for the moment, and that will bring the future, and no one knows what the hell that is.
