You understand to level up after 20 is to get better body gear and upgrade that gear. To get that gear it's going to be from drops or rewards from strikes and crucible. Or join the one of the factions by purchasing that faction piece to earn that faction reputation. That unlocks the legendary gear to buy from that faction.

You don't need a membership up to 31. It's all built in to the solo and matchmaking part of the game. I am half way to 31 and have never done a single raid or nightly/weekly strike.

if you buy the expansion they give you the gear to get to 26. after that you need to do strikes to get better gear.

theres no experience or anything you can kill to level up anymore. it all goes off your gear.

ive got 3 level 20 characters and all i do is swap the high level gear between them to make each of the 32 when i use them.

get your pass bro and buy the expansion and ill play with you to get through all the hard shit easier.

I was watching a 5 year old play Minecraft this weekend. I never understood the popularity until now. It looks like it's 20 years old graphically and game play movement.

But in terms of allowing kids (or even adults) be creative and learn valuable skills it's pretty damn cool.

I watched 5 year old build a fully functional electronic circuit with relays, switches, and logic gates.

Apparently there are people (probably from their parents basement) building fully functional virtual super computers.

I thought it was just a guy made of blocks walking around building other shit out of blocks.
