you guys really take this "alpha/beta" shit seriously. i say it in the same way I say "the south". the concept of alpha/beta seems to be a touchy subject for you guys. definitely been a few meltdowns on the subject. I find it strange and funny at the same time.

More proof that you should never buy a game day 1.
Graphics get improved, bugs get fixed, price gets lower.
You literally pay less to play a better version of the game if you wait a month or 2. I will never understand the whole pre order fad. Game makers have no incentive to release the game in it's finalized state with pre orders. "That'll do, we already made a billion, we'll iron out the kinks months after it's released." Think fellas.

I've been playing fallout 4 continuously since release week with over 100hrs and never once have I gotten mad or frustrated about the experience. Petty bugs. Fella at work has 400+ hours in on it and one of his kids is around there as well.
I agree on the concept of waiting for fixes and lower prices because some games have literally been unplayable without a patch or several but fallout was not even close to those standards. Between my time and the kids we've probably paid just a few cents per hour of entertainment.Comment

Well the same can be said for a lot of things though. New phone =new bugs, new Windows 10, new cars etc. Being an early adopter comes with the risks.Comment

The good:
Looks and runs great on both consoles.
The craft, kill, capture loop still provides a low-grade catharsis.
