Mine is not an unbranded phone like yours bro.. mine is through AT&T, so although there is very little bloatware put on the phone either by AT&T or Motorola, I am still going to wait for AT&T to push the update. I want to make sure all the testing has been done on an AT&T branded phone. Last thing I want is for some obscure firmware issue to pop up.

Did you check to see if there is an update though? Settings > About phone > system updates

Yep, first thing I did.. :)

It says no updates at this time. I know Verizon has pushed the Lollipop upgrade to their customers, so hopefully AT&T isn't too far behind.

Well it is more than just for TV. I have my DVD players setup to work with it, the TV at work, parents house etc. It even works with ceiling fans. Basically anything that uses an ir remote. Master control at the fingertips.

Scrum, did you use moto maker to customize your phone?

I think that's available through moto direct only. Pretty sure he bought through att.

You can do it through Verizon. You set up everything with them and Motorola gives you a pin to complete transaction. I'd imagine there is similar process with AT&T.

I'm still undecided between HTC or moto x; the storage is my hang up now. HTC 160GB vs motos 32GB. The additional memory being removable which I really prefer. If anything happens to the phone most of your media is saved. If I do move forward with the moto x I'll likely get the black walnut finish.

Just keep in mind the cloud when think about storage. None of your photos or videos need to be stored on your phone. I have over 8000 photos, hundreds of videos, and hundreds of songs on my google account. My 32gig phone still has 20 gigs of free space..

I know. I just really prefer physical storage.

What do use for your cloud storage? How much storage? Cost?

Yes, I've got it mostly set up. The phone came with the Moto app, which walked me through all the setups. I have the night mode set up, the proximity sensors and the visual sensors that can tell if I am looking at the screen and adjust the display accordingly, and the audible stuff to give the phone commands by voice. Works great!
