Mine is not an unbranded phone like yours bro.. mine is through AT&T, so although there is very little bloatware put on the phone either by AT&T or Motorola, I am still going to wait for AT&T to push the update. I want to make sure all the testing has been done on an AT&T branded phone. Last thing I want is for some obscure firmware issue to pop up.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostBTW, why do you still not have lollipop? Thats kit kat in your screenshot.

Well it is more than just for TV. I have my DVD players setup to work with it, the TV at work, parents house etc. It even works with ceiling fans. Basically anything that uses an ir remote. Master control at the fingertips.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostSpeaking of TV remotes, phones still use IR sensors? It would seem much easier to use your home wifi to send a signal to your TV or cable box to switch the channel. Aren't there apps that do that? I know that when I had a Comcast DVR, I could change channels, program the DVR, etc. over the net, not with IR.

You can do it through Verizon. You set up everything with them and Motorola gives you a pin to complete transaction. I'd imagine there is similar process with AT&T.
I'm still undecided between HTC or moto x; the storage is my hang up now. HTC 160GB vs motos 32GB. The additional memory being removable which I really prefer. If anything happens to the phone most of your media is saved. If I do move forward with the moto x I'll likely get the black walnut finish.

Just keep in mind the cloud when think about storage. None of your photos or videos need to be stored on your phone. I have over 8000 photos, hundreds of videos, and hundreds of songs on my google account. My 32gig phone still has 20 gigs of free space..

Yes, I've got it mostly set up. The phone came with the Moto app, which walked me through all the setups. I have the night mode set up, the proximity sensors and the visual sensors that can tell if I am looking at the screen and adjust the display accordingly, and the audible stuff to give the phone commands by voice. Works great!Originally posted by blm View PostScrum, did you use moto maker to customize your phone?
