Keeping our small/family type vibe going is important but we also need to add more active users no doubt about it.
If you would like to increase user base here is an observation that has some ideas that may help: From what I've gathered the site was pretty popular just prior to the last designer ban in '04 with talk of M1T and Superdrol etc, and the Anabolic section is the most browsed by guests.

I realize designers are not popular by any means with traditional AAS users but the debates and general talk about them seem to get a lot of activity. Designers such as new compounds, non methyl transdermals and even intra muscular are very popular with a lot of people. Things such as liver support have come a long way in the last 10 years as well. The kicker is talk of IM injections is prohibited on other sites because they are sponsored boards trying to keep gov eyes off these new gray area "research only" drugs to keep them rolling.

My point is maybe we can have a section just for designer steroids/ prohormones or at least allow people to feel comfortable talking about them in the anabolic forum and be one of the few places with open talk on IM injections for these new designers because the IM info seems sparse. We want to help out other brothers with their goals even if the traditional side doesn't agree with them but some other boards downright chastize people for using designers when they are part of the game and the newest in terms of compound development.

If we can keep the education of advantages and disadvantages of aas, gh, peptides, designers, pct etc. for newbies without making them feel like idiots we could be more successful.

    Just a long winded thought.

I'd also like to add that a section for cycle logs/ reviews would be a nice addition.

It's interesting. It's times like today where the site was down when I realize how much a part of me this site actually is. I can either continue to be lazy with it and let it go downhill or I can get my shit together and put some effort into it. I think I like the second option. :)
thats how i found this site through google researching about gear and profiles. I still use the steroid profiles to this day when working out cycles, dosages etc.

and if you need any help in option 2 let me know if i can do anything bro

That can be done within the AAS section. To many forums/sections scatters activity.

I don't think it's necessarily designer steroids. Bodybuilding drugs in general are what drives people here. The AAS section gets far more guest traffic than any other section. I will agree however with your last point. I'm guilty of it myself. Helping and making someone feel welcome rather than attacking is always probably a good move when trying to attract a crowd. haha

i think the active members can all do something. we can all give a little more of ourselves. sounds a bit corny but its true. on forums like these people tend to get comfortable and bored with the same old subjects. so when someone new who is excited about the subject comes along and asks questions they are met with lazy/boring answers and thus they move on never to return. this is the vibe we need to change, myself included. i think it will benefit the new members and the older members. a better vibe all around.

True. I guess this would be something to look into if there was a full page of daily activity or more. Perhaps some other consolidation may be in order then while we are still small? Reducing forum subsections and combining SM gallery and member pictures sections? Please don't take any offense to what I'm saying I'm just shooting off some ideas on how to help out.

Cool. I didn't want to come off in a way to illicit a response like "The fucking new guy that wants to change something on the site. Kill him!" Lol. I guess I'm too used to many years of offering suggestions to my wife and getting the "why are you acting like your my dad trying to tell me what to do?" treatment. lol

Tapatalk is free. And it's much better than Forum Runner. Moreover, it has lots of other boards on there, so you can subscribe to and check on several of them when you launch the app, so it saves a lot of time. I am a member of 3 other boards on Tapatalk, so looking forward to adding SM to the list! :)

Scrum I now understand why FB is more fond of forumrunner than we are. She sent me a screenshot of her forumrunner error that she was getting and I could see how it looked on an iphone. Bottom line, it works properly on apple.

FB, on android forumrunner is pretty terrible. Avatars dont load, gifs dont load, pics are tiny when clicked, and the bottom navigate menu is sort of cutoff at the bottom of the screen. Looks like the designers of the app made it for apple and kind of did it for android as an after thought. A simple update from them would fix the issue but Iv'e never seen an update from forumrunner sinse I installed it so I doubt they care. lol

I thought I used Forum Runner a while back on iPhone. Can't remmember, I've got to log back into iTunes and see if I have it in my purchased apps list. I thought it was better but still not as well engineered as Tapatalk. Plus, the community seemed to be smaller - all the big guys are on Tapatalk, especially on the tech side, like Android Central, lots of car forums, etc.

I was just teasing. But on FR there are lots of other boards, as well. I can add them to my "favorites" and access them all from the same main screen, etc.

Ahhh....that's exactly why I said I didn't understand why anyone would complain about it. I don't mind a switch, I'm sure it's fine too, I just didn't see anything "wrong" with it either. :)

Got rid of the annoying white ad banner. Wasn't worth the cost of annoying my by making the site uglier. lol

In the process of installing tapatalk. Just waiting on their support team to make a change in the url path. I have things done on my side. Hopefully the support team gets it done on their side asap.
