Where should I vacation?!

So. I just got back from Bermuda. The Bermuda that is otherwise known as the Eastern Caribbean. Thank you Hurricane Joaquin. :hang:

Damn fb how bad was it? I'm sure you got some stories. Do tell. We're you able to enjoy any of the trip? Bermuda is such a great place.

The boat was set to sail at 4pm last Friday. Around 11am Carnival was still saying we were going, and I was getting very antsy about the weather. I wasn't scared of the hurricane, but knew it would be miserable if it rained the entire 8 days, or if they later decided it wasn't "safe" to dock and then left us out at sea (how boring!). I decided we weren't going to go. At around 12:30 I went online to get the phone number to call them, and they had just updated and decided they were changing the itinerary. Long story short, I ended up going and we were the last people on the ship because we were hauling ass trying to make it. :laugh:

We ended up going to Puerto Rico, St Thomas and Grand Turk. I love St Thomas, but I had already been to two out of three of those Ports and they really don't have much to offer.

It was a nice time and still nice to get away, but it was a bummer to miss out on going somewhere new. :( We gamble a lot, so we had a killer deal and the casino treated us very well, but some people definitely got ripped off because it is a lot cheaper to buy a cabin to the Caribbean from Florida than to Bermuda.

ahh well you still have to go to Bermuda. it is something very different then the Caribbean.
