That's not a pit. It's a (mostly mastiff) and pit mix with the ears done to amplify the pit look so the owner can sell it as "the Worlds biggest pit".

My best guess is the specific mastiff used in that mix is a french mastiff. I'm a lover of the breed as you know I owned one. But these people market this "pit line" and its just not. It's like calling a mostly chihuahua and pit bull mix "the world smallest pit". People eat this shit up though.

Yes it's a pit bull breed. It is a gross exaggeration of the standard apbt that they now market as "bully breed." However, a pit bull is still a cross breed of dogs. As is this one.

A pit bull is not a cross breed of a completely different type of dog. If you breed a pit bull and a lab you have a pit bull lab mix. You don't call it a pit bull The dog in that vid is a mix of various dogs including mastiff. This is especially true when the dominant genes are NOT pit bull. A pit bull is supposed to be athletic and agile, that dog is anything but. A pit bull can pull a a god damn train yet jump into the air and hang from a rope. The dog in that vid has a hard enough time walking on its own fucken feet. It's like calling Ronnie Coleman an Olympic athlete.
