From bits and pieces I can find on the breeder it's believed he's a cross of American bulldog and apbt and charge $50k for breeding.
Either way, the biggest problem I have is the health issues they are breeding just to get the biggest dog they can that looks like a giant apbt. It's sad really.Comment

I'm sorry but that's a lot more than just an American bulldog. If it was just pit and American bulldog it would still have the characteristic agility and energy. A real pit bull would run circles around that couch potato in any dog sport you can think of. There is zero doubt in my mind that dog has dominant mastiff genes. That dog doesn't even look like a pit bull to me. Imagine it without the pit style cropped ears, now place those cropped ears on my french mastiff, you have a very similar look. Of course my mastiff was pure french mastiff where as this dog has some pit in it, but you get the point.Comment

bro normally you'd have a point with my know it all type assholishness. but i think it's pretty clear by you labeling that dog a pit that you know very little about the breed. i also think it's pretty clear who has the most experience with bully breeds and big dogs in general. it's a pretty safe bet to assume i know a little bit more about dogs than you do.
but regardless, my beef isn't with you, it's with this breeder and his labeling which makes people who know little about dogs even more confused and ignorant. it's an insult to pit bulls in the same way that it would be an insult to boxers if you bred them with a great dane and called it the worlds largest boxer, its not a fucking boxer anymore, its a bumbling goof of a dog that lacks boxer traits and characteristics.Comment
