The FBI director is full of crap, as are all the police chiefs, the Mayor of Chicago and others who are suggesting that increased videotaping of police is leading to violence against them.
Its leading to accountability and in some cases justice for the victims.
I get it, they have a hard job. Doesn't justify actions like those taken here. Also one can say or it even has been said they have a tough job and are under a lot of stress. They have a split second to make a decision and maybe they made a mistake. Well as we are all held accountable for all our mistakes that break the law so too should they be.

Disturbing video shows S.C. officer body-slamming female student - TODAY.com

In contrast I do t actually have an issue with this. She was asked several times and refused to obey after she caused a problem in the first place. While what he did looks elaborate, it waa in fact very controlled and efficient he didn't strike her he took control of her whole body and dealt fast.

      Good cop imo

It is ok for the government to record a lowly citizen, but don't get any crazy ideas and start recording governmental employees.

What a joke. This guy should be tossed out on his ass for making such comments.

        A quote to think about...

"FBI director says citizens filming the police makes them, 'feel like they're under siege'... The tv show COPS is on its 28th Season..."

          Lol...

If they are not doing shady things, they have no reason to fear the camera.

Dude, he was a grown man who threw a 16 year old minor girl to the floor and dragged her across the floor. You don't see that as a problem? You see this as the system railroading the guy? You crazy, bro?

The guy should have assault charges filed against him. He's getting off easy IMO.

How would you of handled it? By speaking to her like a little princess, caressing her hand, etc....for fucks sake...many many many many people/students said that many many many many of her peers asked her to get off the phone. Respect the fucking law and perhaps the law would respect you. It's all fine and dandy until someone gets hurt. What if the student had a knife, gun, etc...hits the cop and knocks his ass out...then what??? He could possibly get fired or worse if he had not done his job right.

Cops are not trained to fucking hold people's hand, caress them, pamper them, etc....either fucking listen or get fucked up....simple logic that I actually like.

She was being a typical fucking black kid, fact....funny how all of these videos are of blacks....almost as if they're doing this shit intentionally, man fuck them,..,pisses me off

Assaulting a child isn't the way you deal with it. Don't bring in the knife, gun crap into the discussison. Total red herring, has nothing to do with what happened. They cop escalated the situation by going to defcon 5.. against a minor girl.

Pretty typical reaction these days wtih cops - instead of calming things down and seeking quiet and peaceful resolution options, you escalate the situation at the first opportunity and employ excessive force. Lucky nobody got shot here, that's the best thing I can say.

Man, he's a cop, a job where he has to deal with difficult people all day. If he can't control his temper and take any lip that comes his way, he shouldn't be a cop. Period. Resign. Go do something else. Nobody forced you to be a cop.

Be a good citizen, listen to the law, peers, etc....just go to work, make money, live happy and just fucking be normal already. I'm so sick and tired of people crying me wolf because cops are out of hand. Ever think about the stress or mental situation they're going through? I feel for most cops, most...but not all...

She's a child acting like an adult. Or had she been 22 then we could call her an adult; that would just sound or look better right:retard: again, listen or get fucked up....and at times, literally....

Doesn't matter. She didn't obey. Fine. But you don't do some WWE move on her because she cussed you out or whatever. Total overreaction... could have hurt her easily.

Stupid principal and teachers too. Bring in a cop to deal with a kid using a phone, smh.. I see no evidence these days of the negotiator cop, only the soldier cop. This was going to go down badly as soon as police were involved.

False....it could have happened, then what? You can't dismiss that and if you do, then you're being ignorant.

Why point fingers at the cop....why the fuck did she not comply? Let me see, bad parenting? Eh she IS black right?

The female instead of being the little bitch that she was, should have listened when not 1 or 2, but several of her peers told her to put the phone down....man fuck her....and I say that because of the media bs this is getting....the teacher should have brought out the paddle and whipped her ass like the old days.
