Stupid principal and teachers too. Bring in a cop to deal with a kid using a phone, smh.. I see no evidence these days of the negotiator cop, only the soldier cop. This was going to go down badly as soon as police were involved.
Of course it matters.....so now there's a better way to actually work with people who keep NOT doing as their told by an officer? As in subduing them? Ok

Look, cops don't know how to deescalate situations. This has been shown time and time again. They don't have the training, we don't have the right kind of individuals, whatever. We have a serious problem in this country of cops escalating even simple situations until, in their minds, lethal force is necessary. Maybe we attract sociopaths to be cops. Maybe we don't give the right kind of training to them, but the bottom line is that over and over again, we have this situation that plays out the same way - someone gets stopped, cop feels disrespected, cop goes nuts on the person. Doesn't matter if they are guilty of something real, or just guilty of talking back to the cop. Open your eyes and look. It's all around you.

I maintain that cops have no business enforcing discipline in schools. They don't have the training to do it. They only tool they seem to be capable of using is a hammer, and to a guy with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

School resource officer is just a fancy name. What training, I would like to ask, did he get to do conflict resolution with minors? Or if he did get some training, did he use it here? With his WWE move? Come on!

Rado, you think that kicking the ass of anyone who does not immediately kiss the boots of the police officer is an appropriate response. I maintain that it isn't. Especially with a minor. We seem to have a fundamental difference of opinion here. Let's leave it at that.

Maybe if the little fucking black :retard: of a brat knew manners, respect, obedience, how to live as a Good Samaritan, then perhaps we wouldn't be ranting:):thumb:

Your racism clearly exposes your core ignorance which clearly explains why you would justify something such as a grown man (of any color) manhandling a girl (of any color) that posed no threat to him or anyone else in the situation.
Last time I checked common sense shouldn't need to be included in the employee training for any job, including police officer.

Even though I don't entirely agree I have to chime in to express my feelings of respect for what was a fucking exceptional piece of written work.

                  Outstanding

So its perfectly fine for a student to disrupt class..be told by teacher..administrator, then finally a cop (because she failed to follow simple instructions of get off the phone in class) Im sorry..she created this problem by having an attidude that she is better then the rules of the class room and can disrupt other students class time..for HER thoughts of what SHE wants to do.... This is whats wrong with society today..people dont follow the general rule of doing whats right and respecting rules in place for the good of all in (this case)a class room enviroment. I think she got EXACTLY what she deserved by not following 3 diffrent adults clearly in a position to tell her to STOP disrupting the class! The cop actually did well by restraing her. All she had to do was follow simple leagle instructions she was given...she refused...SHE CREATED THIS! not the school..teachers or the cop. PERIOD! In all honesty.. I would not of liked it..But truth be told if my kidd did this I would say she got what she deserved because she was being an ASS!and would leave it at that.

Agree rip in that her behavior is not acceptable. But neither is the cops. I would have escorted her out of the room in a firm way that would not have involved slamming her on the ground.

I understand your thoughts...cop did as trained if someone resists..period. I understand your view, but dont agree..she failed to follow simple instructions..she got what she asked for.

                            Are you a parent?
I only ask because as a parent I would not be ok with anyone putting their hands on my child in that manner in that scenario, cop or not. Would you?
I would be furious with my child for behaving in such a manner and would certainly discipline them as I see fit after this occurred.
If you are not a parent I would not expect you to be able to give a response based on experience but I am certainly open to hearing your opinion.

I don't completely disagree with ya bro. I guess I feel he could have accomplished the same result and avoided making her a sort of mortar by simply lifting her up and carrying her out.
