I was on the Android kick for a while and switched from the 6S+ to a Galaxy S8+. The biggest thing for me is battery effectiveness because I’m on the road for work a lot and use my GPS, mail client and texting a lot. My S8+ started to crap out after 3 months. I had swapped it for a new one because of the drastic decline and it happened again. I ended up switching back to iOS and got the 8+ and I get a solid 1.5 days use. Today, I’ve been streaming to an audio system, using my phone as a hot spot intermittently and checking work emails since about 11a and I’m at 63%.
I have a better experience with battery with Apple devices but I enjoy the Android range of functionality. The other reason why I stick with iOS is because every work app I need works better on iOS than it did on Android.
