I'd hang out with Kaepernick. I'd hang out with you too Lip. Teach you how to shoot some Mallard's or better yet some teal flyinig at high speeds. Those things are like hummingbirds. :hibb:
Please...teach me...lolo....I have a hundred more just like um....:)
Then move to a different country that you would want to show respect towards. I get Scrums take on wanting to improve our country. I think that's something we would all agree with. But then stand and honor the country and those that gave their lives so you can enjoy the freedoms that you most likely don't appreciate.
This is exactly my point. You are trying to force me to be a Nationalist... It's my way or the highway! Move to Canada!
Your opinion...your entitled to it...go hang out with them....

I'm totally fine with the guys kneeling for the anthem, because it's their "intent" I look at and not their specific actions. Their intent is to draw attention to policy brutality (like we saw with the Baltimore cop story carrying fake guns to plant on people just in case they get trigger happy and shoot someone). Their intent is not to disrespect the country they happen to be born into.
If they were holding signs that said "fuck America, I hate this place" while standing with their hand over their hearts then I'd be outraged, because their intent is to disrespect the country and the flag.

People being forced to show respect out of fear of reprisal is not showing respect, it is forced Nationalism.

Listen to Vince McMahon talk about the XFL where the players are required to stand during the national anthem. Trump and Fox News pundents talking negativley about the NFL players kneeling for the national anthem.
Children in schools being forced to stand and pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America. "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth below. You shall not be down to them or worship them" Exodus 20: 4-5.
Nationalistic expressions make us serve two (2) masters. "No one can serve two masters" Matthew 6:24. Nationalism is defined as loyalty and devotion to a nation. It is placing one nation above all others. Nationalism believes God supports the nation, i.e. the British saying, "God and Country!"
"We must obey God rather than human beings," Acts 5:29.

That is simply not true. I talk all the time positively about American science, engineering and our love for the land, especially out West where I have spent most of my life, our awesome music and literature, our generosity as a people, etc.
When you are a great athlete and you want to become an elite athlete, what do you focus on in the off-season? The 9 things you do well, or the 1 thing you don't? That's America. We are a great country that is 90% good. I want it to be an elite country that is 99% good. So, I focus on the 10% that is not good in the country. You have to look in the mirror every day and talk about the warts you see. Not ignore them.
well i don't really have an argument for that. lol.
I got no doubt about scrums contributions. He is the definition of the American dream.
My issue is that he always seems to be complaining about the country, never any praise it seems.

So what exactly have you done to fix anything....lol. Bitch about America on bouncers site...lmao

I'm not going to get run out of my country by anyone.
I think people being forced to stand for the flag and do other rituals is idolatry. Worship the flag, worship nationalism.

i think Americans in general tend to take things for granted. i think if all of us were forced to spend some time in some 3rd world shit hole we may be reminded just how good we have it.
no country is perfect, not by a long shot, but to disregard all the great things about this country and constantly point out it's flaws is a cancer that is growing rapidly in this nation.
nobody is asking you to worship anything but a little respect for a nation that has given you so much might be nice..
