  • Active Shooter in FL High School

    http://cnn.it/2EHyq7e

20 injures, shooter still at large. So many parents are trying to get a hold of their children. They’re trying to evacuate as safely as possible.

Fuck sake. This shit is getting rediculous. Kids with access to their parents guns. The parents should be given maximum punishment. If your a parent and your child uses your weapon to kill innocent people you should be given life or death sentence. Fucken stupid mother fuckers. No accountability.

Have they given details of the suspected shooter? It happened after school let out and it could have been a visitor? But there are 3000-ish students so there is a high chance it was a kid.

I heard they did active shooter training and while that’s a good thing, it’s terrible we now have to prepare for this stuff in schools.

Again, you're much more likely to be killed by a white american born terrorist than you are a brown immigrant terrorist by many times over according to statistics.

This is not good because the whole gun debate is about to resurface. Russia must be loving this. It's part of their plan to turn us against each other.

Does that include black shooters? Blacks kill many times more people with guns in America then whites do. They usually kill other blacks but people are people no?

I just don't understand. Guns have always been part of America. But these fucken mass shootings are a new phenomenon the last 20 years or so. Gun laws are actually more strict compared to 20 years ago yet this shit keeps getting worse. Why did this not happen before? The only thing I can come up with is that mental health in America continues to decline.

Wait... why is race being brought into this at all? Race plays a significantly smaller role in this situation. A shooter attacked teachers and students in a school. The big issue here is gun saftey and securing a school campus. many parents and reporters mention (now and previously) you can bring a gun just about anywhere. What steps are being taken to prevent a shooter, regardless of race, from doing that? What was the mental health like for the shooter? If it was obvious he was a part of any gun groups on social media, what other red flags were there? Race may or may not have a role but it’s definitely not the issue at hand.

Keiser brought the shit up. I was just responding.

To your point, I'd argue that if all teachers were trained and required to carry a gun this would have been ended real quick.

If your a shooter and you want to cause maximum damage you are going to pick a "gun free zone" like a school or church.

Oh I agree. If they’re not wanting to carry, they should have it stored somewhere in each classroom for access in situations like this. Teachers go through sensitivity training, bomb threat training, lord knows what else.

Even if it's not every teacher. At least 3-4 in different locations of the school.

just remember. this is a human issue, we cannot blame an object for human madness. we blame wars on the weapons..

Pencils don't misspell words, forks don't make people fat, and guns don't kill people.

Arm the faculty who is willing to step up. This needs to stop. 21 shootings at schools in 2018 alone....its ridiculous
