Bouncer, the part you're ignoring that many of us have tried to tell you is that old school gun guys, including the NRA do use the term interchangeably in casual conversation even though we know their is a distinct modern difference in the definition of each. If I go to a store of course I'll be specific in what I'm asking for, but when talking casually we might use the two interchangeably out of habit.

I'm going to create another thread to disprove your claims of you being more experienced than me so that we don't junk this one up since there is some good discussion in here.

I'm not dodging anything you idiot. You are arguing the use of incorrect terminology. The NRA site is saying "yes people do use the terms interchangeably". That does not make it correct. People use many terms interchangeably that are technically incorrect.

You are arguing in favor of ignorance. I cannot be more clear here. A clip and a magazine are 2 completely different things. If you want to be one of the people that labels them incorrectly that is your right, but it's still techically incorrect.

Stop trying to win an argument and understand when you are wrong. Own it and move on. Now you know.

No, do not make another thread. The discussion has been had over and over again. Make your argument here. Any pics you post of your firearms must have your username and date next to it. Pulling pics from the Internet wont work here.

I can't stop laughing. You are so missing the point. Actually the NRA website says more than that and covers the issue very well. It's the millennial internet guys who get worked up over this. Just because someone uses the term interchangeably doesn't mean they have no experience, if anything it means the opposite.

OK I'll post pics on the condition that you apologize after I do so once you realize they are legit. If you call someone out, and they deliver then it's only right to apologize.

OK, so our resident Gun Guru, the Bouncer has called me out and made the claim that he has more experience than me with firearms. :retard:

I've been shooting/hunting since I was about 7 years old and still do so today. My experience in hunting his mostly waterfowl (duck, teal, goose) but I've also done quite a bit of deer/elk hunting as well. I'm in my early 40's now so that's about 35 or so years of experience. Bouncer got his first firearm in the summer of 2017, and was born and raised in the liberal concrete jungle of New Jersey.

^ It's like Pauly D from Jersey shore telling one of the guy's from duck dynasty he's got more experience with firearms.

            Let's start with this:

My grandpa died in 2011, and here is a photo of me from the summer of 2017 in Arizona, with the hat on the left (and you're a total loser if you say I found this pic on the internet because I have more coming, so be careful):

a magazine and a clip are 2 different objects. this is not debatable.

if you choose to use the 2 terms interchangeably that is your right but you are incorrect.

Most of my guns are in storage in Arizona (because California), but I went out of my way for you just now and opened up my safe and here is a pic of the few I have with me here in Cali.

(and yes Rip and Turbo and any other experienced gun owner, those a single action army colt's from the 1800's with the stag handles, my pride and joy). The other two are Python 357's.

If you asked me what those 2 things were, I'd tell you they are magazines, but most likely I've called them clips in casual conversation or when shooting with my buddies I've probably said, "pass me the clip" or something like that.

                          • I just realized, Chaddd77 probably has a hard-on since I finally posted pics. He's been asking for months.

Granted, I don't consider myself a hard-core bodybuilder and I'm not on any gear, but I do lift regularly.

I'm 6'2, 220lbs and maybe 12-14% bodyfat on average? :weights:

Yeah they are my favorite. I have a S&W 44 Mag in Arizona, but Im' partial to the Colts. Don't shoot them, but they are more of a collectible for me.
