Ok, i figure ill throw my 5 cents worth in here. Firstly i am not a body builder, im a martial artists, my gym partner is a body builder however (been training since he was in grade 5 he's about 5'7" @ 108kg). Ive only been gym training for about 2 years. My current stats are 24 years old, 81kg @ 5'11" and 10% BF. daver1111 your information is insightfull but a couple of things you should consider.
1. The fat value of the burgers and fries you can pretty much double. Why? Cause the kids working on the fry vats and grills dont drain the fat off as well as they should. Sure they may do it when the manager walks past but the rest of the time they dont give a shit. (Would you for 5 bucks an hour?) How do i know i use to work at macca's (manager). Did for 4 years. Also fry vat oil is usually about a month old before its changed. And i ask a question would you like to eat that much fat every meal of every day? That amount of saturated fat makes me feel like shit. (like i said ive worked there and have eated 3-4 meals a day of that shit). (BTW i am an ecto so got away with). Although still not good for the insides you can feel and it did fuck up my martial arts training.
2. What would you prefer? 30g of protein or 66g? Ill take the 66g home cooked meal. I know whats in it then.
3. Ok so you can stay under 10% while eating macca's. What if you didnt eat macca's? What would your body fat be then? I reacon thats good for a couple of % drop. Ive been up as high as 14% bodyfat and fucking hated it. Didnt feel like myself.
Ok that said against macca's. I will eat it if ive got no choice. One meal of it every now and then aint going to screw with me that much. But eating 4 meals + of it pre day. Not good. Been there. And bouncer has eaten it for more then one meal a day. If you hunt around you can find the post for all his meals. (Bouncer, Did that day make you all bloated and feeling like shit?).
IMO id prefer to put on lean muscle mass with clean food then have to fuck around later getting my bodyfat back down from over 25% to 10% and battling with all the side effects of being over weight on the way. (what hell would your cholesterol levels look like after eating that shit everyday all the time. Especially when on gear which fucks them up anyhow.)
Now your entitled to your opinon and it looks like you have an idea of what your talking about. But dont think that that means you know everything you dont and nore do I. Read the opinons and post you own but calling everyone fuckos makes you look like a small petty little kid. Some of the guys on this site are quite knowledgable.
