Huh..? Did you just really say that? Your cardio is #1 priority broOriginally posted by AvidFisherman View PostI understand the need to be consistent on my diet and lifting, but not the cardio. So what if I burn an extra 200 kcal one day and 400 kcal another with cardio. 2700 kcal/day is a pretty big deficit for me.

Damn sonnnnnnnnn:thumup:Originally posted by lipripper View PostIf you fluctuate like you say between winter and summer BF %..its obvious you know what to do. your doing it...part time...if you will. Based on that it seems more like a discipline problem then anything else bro. If you really want it..youll do it. If you "cheat" your just lieing to yourself... whats more important to you? If you want to get to a certain destination...you have to get on the train until the ride is complete...you cant get off at every stop and expect to get there on time..
I noticed you said some days you walk for 20 min...others its an hour or more on your hikes... this is a prime example...here's why bro. You say your cals are 2700 a day... ok cool...how many are you BURNING A DAY? its obvious your not burning the same amount on a 20 min verses an hour hike... one day you burn say..200...the next 400, on your hike... see what Im getting at? Very inconsistent. youll never get there. Gotta burn more then your taking in..PERIOD,EVERY DAY... Im thinking your biggest issue..MAY be just that.. your inconsistent. with your food intake and your calorie burn.
I know your into this whole fasting thing all good if you like. But it makes your diet inconsistent..Id bet for sure the day after fasting you feed hard. Because you have to be hungry so whats the point? Now your surging calories. the whole point is to feed on a constant basis so as not to be hungry, yet burn more cals then your putting in...every day... day in and day out. its simple..its proven. all the other crap really don't make a difference to be honest bro, not with dieting. now building muscle..yea that's different.
Now I could be wrong as its my opinion and we all got one... But sounds to me you need to be more consistent on your diet and cardio and you will see the results...self discipline my man..self discipline..

Cardio is important period, regardless of fat mass, muscle mass etc.Originally posted by AvidFisherman View PostCardio is important for overall health but diet and weights are more important for muscle mass and fat mass.

Have you not said you're wanting to drop fat?
Cardio...whats the point of looking big, cut, etc....but can't jog or run?
Cardio, food, training......is how I prioritize it.
Saying no to cardio is like saying I don't want test in my cycle....just ignorant
Your very own first post said to drop fat, now you talk about fat mass? Damn dude, you're all over the place

I guess I should have shared this before. Last year in May I got my bmr tested and it was a little under 3000 kcal/day. Im not on as much gear now as I was then so Im betting my bmr is close to 2700 kcal/day which is why I choose that number as my daily goal. Im just wondering if its too low?Originally posted by lipripper View PostBut is it extra that your burning? My point was if your counting everything your burning..whats your BURN rate for the day? if those # EXCEED it..ok... but if they are included in getting to it....its not working bro. that was my point.

Im not trying to gain fat mass but loose it. Im not saying cardio is unimportant, its important for overall health and I do regular cardio but I dont set a specific time or only so a specific exercise. One day I may take my dogs on a long walk, the next a short walk, the next not at all but I went kayaking. You all are saying I should have an exact measurment of kcal expended and I should should do a specific ammount each day so it is consistent but I do not see a point to it. There are studies, your body adapts to cardio over time and you stop burning as many kcal for the exercise as you once did. For instance, if I jogged 30 minutes every day, after a couple months, where I may have burned 300 kcal I am now only burning 150 kcal.Originally posted by rado View PostCardio is important period, regardless of fat mass, muscle mass etc.

Why don't you just drop all the gear and just focus on the training and the diet and then when you are @ a comfortable body fat level then get back on the AAS.
You may not be on a high dose of test but it can still cause your E2 levels to rise where you will still bloat up and @ 21 body fat I don't think it's a good thing...
