What happens is that most who start to do xfit, think it's like the gym. Just pick up weights, stretch, put weight down, etc...repeat....not with xfit, nope not here Sally buns.

Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Paying $240 a month, makes you go!!!!
240? No way would I pay that much.

Xfit concept is great. I just wish they cut out all the stupid and dangerous exercise combinations and that there was less xfit koolaid being consumed.

LOL at 240 a month. You crazy bro?

They range anywhere from 189 up to near 300...I also train with crossfit New England.....look them up, best of the best....reebok has one in DT boston for near $300....I also have unlimited....some of the boxes I've seen can cost around 120/150 or higher....I just wouldn't necessarily trust them. Most of them recently just been training for a year or two and received a level 1 cert....

No different than when I was rolling. Here in Boston it can range from 110 up to 225 a month....just like any other gym or affiliation, you certainly pay more for the best coaches.

A year in the books with xfit, wow...time flies.

I'll be going back to bjj once March hits, miss it for sure.

                    Both.

I'm very happy with my outcome from xfit, definitely has put me in th best cardio/conditioning shape I've ever been in. Bjj conditioning(like every sport)is very different. I wanted to expand my training a bit; hence the xfit.

for me though, I miss the physical abuse and insane training I got from bjj. I'm also a person who doesn't need 100 people to cheer me on. In bjj, it's just me and my partner, that's it.

Listen, xfit has been fun(and $$$), I've met tons of great people(and fine ass ladies)....but at the end of the day bro, I enjoy being beaten up while I can give it back.

I could keep the membership with xfit but it's stupid. While I spend money like no other, I do at times stop and think just how stupid it is to have xfit at $200 and bjj at $150....not to mention lifetime is another $144...so yeah, stupid. That's $500 a month of gym shit lol...

Best gym I've ever been a member at; it's like going to the spa/resort ED.

Only thing I don't like, their DB's only go to 130...I need 150's but who's counting.

I also like the fact that I can look out my apt window and see it. It's about 600 yards away from my door:D

Damn. That's a lot of money for a gym. Hope you like it - I pay $25 for my 24 hour fitness. It's got just about everything I need and many things (pool, sauna, etc.) that I don't even use.
