I'm just wondering if I should start putting the hammer down. 5 weeks left as of yesterday...I'm cutting out carbs at breakfast & replacing w/ 1/2 grapefruit & only eating carbs at lunch...trying to decide if I should start doing 2 a day cardio sessions maybe 3 days a week for 20 min- along w/ my 50 minutes of cardio after my workouts. So, that in conjuction with the no carbs at breakfast should yield some pretty good results. I don't have any social functions coming up that would cause me to not eat so well. Then I'm thinking the last 3 weeks, do 2 a day cardio sessions for 30 min 4 times a week, and 50 min 6-7 days...AND then change the diet to no carbs, and carb meals twice a week.

Do I do it any other way? :weights: I mean it's really only 5 more weeks, and if I'm going to win, it's time to quit effing around, right?

i think the only thing i would do if I were you is start eating 100% clean. no more little cheat meals or "i could have eaten cleaner".

i dont think you should do all that cardio though, i think you run the risk of slowing down your metabolism.

AND, started 50+ minutes of cardio a day. I'm losing BF, but I'm not losing weight...it's making me very angry. Only 1.5 lbs lost this week.
You mentioned sonis is going to make up a diet for you for the last 4 weeks was it ? When does this start ?

So, do you think I should keep the cardio where it is & just manipulate the food? By doing the 2/day cardio sessions 3 times/week, wouldn't that jump start my metabolism?

Also- one more update- the scale was jacked up yesterday apparently, so we had to weigh in again today. I didn't lose 1.5lbs.

                I LOST 5.

                Word.

It will probably start next week...maybe the week after. I've been doing this now for a total of 5 weeks...and with last week's biggest loss so far, it seems like my body is being pretty stubborn & taking longer than the 3ish weeks it usually takes to see real results. So, I imagine I might start it next week.

Well ya, that for sure is good motivation :)

I am sure you'll get back to that figure in no time.

Well, I thought it would be pretty easy, and that my body would bounce back since I've been working out so long...But, my midsection is still where I'm carrying most of my weight & what seems to need the most tightening.

Update for this week- nothing lost, nothing gained. I did, however move up to
2nd place, though! I'm kicking up the cardio big time this week...keeping food about the same- maybe increase my fish to 3 times a week instead of 1. :clapback:
