Few things I don't like.

The options button on the controller:

I like the idea of getting rid of the start button because the start button hasn't been used to do anything but pause for decades. My problem with it is the layout on the controller. I have to look at the controller to find the options button because it's almost flush with the controller itself and located really close to the big button in the middle. Shouldn't have to look at controller to find button. I'll get used to it I guess.

The PS4 Main dash:

I still find it cluttered with far to much shit all over the screen. Just let me see my games, my settings, my friends online, Play Store, my downloads, and the Netflix, Prime, and Youtube app. I don't need to see a million stupid images showing me shit iv'e just played.. I KNOW WHAT THE FUCK I PLAYED.. I WAS THERE!

Game Loading/Downloading/Install time:

The games on the PS4 are huge I get it. Each one averaging 40-50 gigs. This poses a problem especially when you are downloading content. My home Internet is not slow by any means at 25mbps but the PS Network never allows me to take advantage of that speed. It downloads games and content at a much slower pace, something like 1mbps. We are talking hours to download stuff. To add insult to injury, once you've downloaded it the installation period also take 20-30 minutes. That to me is unacceptable considering the power and speed of the PS4. Should be able to install immediately. Thankfully all this shit is happening in the backround and you can still play games while something is downloading and installing. It's definitly something they need to work on though. Games will only get bigger as game environments get bigger and graphics get better. 100 Gig games will be the norm.

GTA 5:

IGN gave this game a perfect 10 score and everyone talked about how great it was on the PS4. Am I the only one disappointed? I find the game frustrating and generally not very fun to play. Graphics are very last gen. Looks like a PS3 game. They didn't do near as good a job as Last of Us port. That game looks amazing. Can't believe GTA 5 got so many good reviews while Destiny got shit reviews. I'm finding Destiny to be super fun to play.

To add to my dislike. The new DLC expansion for Destiny which adds new missions and levels will cost $20. 1/3rd the price of the fucken game.

So you pay $399.00 for the system. $50 for a year of online play. $60 for the main game. $20 for each DLC expansion (there will be tons of expansion packs with this game).

The PS4 is definitly becoming far more expensive to play then was the PS3.

Seems like more and more companies are going to the subscription model to get a steady stream of revenue. Adobe has done the same thing with Photoshop, where they have the program in a cloud and everyone does their edits online instead of having a program on a disk that you install on your computer. It's pretty expensive for a casual user - 10 bucks a month or so.

Bouncer pretty much nailed it. I haven't had as much time to play with it yet but even when you first turn it on it asks you who is playing with the controller? Who gives a fuck?! Just start my shit!

My feelings exactly when it comes to GTA5. IMO game is just shit. Maybe it'll get better as the levels go up but man, like bouncer said, it frustrating. You basically have to guess shit to do there is no clear things to do or missions list.

Weird because my downloads don't take that long. In terms of the controller and button locations, it's like using your tv remote a few times.....it gets easy to remember stuff.

I do agree with the display and showing every fkng content on there.

Told you destiny is the shit:thumb:wait till you get the game and start to properly PU your character....make sure you make a minimum of 3....

Yes I knew what you meant, not an update but a game.

Level 8 lol....and btw...you can be level 15 and your character can suck. It's not just about the mission but also finding the secret gems, chests, armor etc....otherwise you're gonna have a level 13 guy that has powers of a level 8.

The weapons and character adapt on how you play and it's good to have multiple characters built.

Beast, I found the setting to turn off that annoying issue where it asks who is using controller.

Settings > Users > Login Settings > Log in Automatically

There is also a setting to limit the amount of shit on home screen.

Settings > System > Limit Content on Home Screen
