once you get to 20 you need to keep getting better gear to get higher levels.

get to 20 doing bounties and shit like that

if you buy the expansion they send you the gear to get to 25

then you need to grind out the strike playlists to get vanguard marks to buy the boots for your character

then do the new missions to get a pair of gloves that gets you to 27.

upgrade both of these and your 28-29 and you can do the raids then to get to 32.

im waiting for you and bouncer to get to 28-29 so we can do the raids.

If I buy the membership(not the expansion), does that help me get to a higher PU? Because I get to play with others that are higher right?

To answer your question. No, not directly, it has nothing to do with the game. Playstation Plus simply allows you to play online.

It's funny how you were this Destiny expert telling me my character is weak and how I had to have 15 characters to level up. I stuck with 1 character and got to 23 or whatever it is easily by just enjoying the game and doing the bounties and playing the missions. I honestly don't get why you find it so hard to level up past 20 as it actually got easier for me.

I feel like you are missing something. Have you done all the bounties by going to the bounty guy at the tower? That how you get the gear and xp etc..

I had to take a break with the game. Got bored playing the same type of missions in the same worlds over and over. Until they offer a real expansion that adds in new worlds etc I think I'm done with it for awhile. No way I'm paying $20 for an expansion that simply allows me to level up. There is no new worlds or anything and apparently the new boss they added can be beaten in a half hour. Anybody that pays $20 for that is a bit ridiculous IMO. I will pay for content and a new experience within the Destiny universe, but I will not pay to upgrade a game character. Being level 3 or level 100 makes no difference to me when it comes right down to it.

If it weren't for Henry, you'd never be at those levels of PU. of course I visit the tower guy for PUs.

My question to Henry was, and I asked several times, do I need to sign up to get higher PUs. And yes that would help because playing online with other higher level PUs, will help me get higher PUs.

I have several characters because I enjoy the game that much, dumbass.

bro me an henry played all of an hour 1 time and when we played he was 15 levels below me. he didn't help me upgrade my character in any way. remember, he bought the ps4 and started over. his charatcher was like level 4 when we played.

Yea I was really into Destiny for about a week and then I just hit that realization that it is incredibly repetitive. Went from cant get enough to no motivation to play whatsoever faster than any game I can remember. The whole 'pay to play' thing sealed the deal for me. If they don't put more effort into the single player story in Destiny 2 I'll be done with the series.

GTA5 for example just released a free update that added new cars, weapons, and improvements. None of this 'charge $20 per update' bullshit that takes advantage of the simple minded willing to pay simply to upgrade a character. ;)

P.S. rado still hasnt even signed up for PS Plus, I thought I was a jew. Guy is cheapest fucker I know. :D FYI, rado your ps4 system should have come with a $10 voucher card in the box. Enter the code on the card and you'll get the discount for PS Plus. That's why I did. Pretty sure the destiny bundle has that same gift card that the black friday ps4 bundle had.
