In other news I cancelled my Fallout 4 pre order gonna wait for reviews and patches before I buy it. It also gives me a chance to start the Witcher 3 over from scratch.

Well I am. Love it. Smart idea on fallout. Gonna be 2 million patches and visual tweaks over a 6 month period. Will be a completely different game by then, just like witcher, and probably $25 cheaper. Why the change of heart? You were all about playing it day one.

After watching and reading the reviews I think it's safe to say this game is a disappointment for anyone with a next gen system. This game does not even qualify as a good looking PS3 game, never mind a PS4 game. This game looks 10 years old. The fact that it has frame rate issues looking as bad as it does shows how unoptimized this game is. We need to vote with our wallets here people. Pre Orders are the root cause of shit like this, game makers no longer have the incentive to put real effort in when they know the name of the game alone will make them big bucks. They have put zero technical effort into this game, none what so ever. Stop buying shit BEFORE they prove themselves!

I will play it for the gameplay and the story but I will wait until it's $40 on amazon in January.

(Read the Ars Review, they really address the lack of effort and progress on the tech front of this game.)

Lets hope that all the patches coming will improve performance and visuals.

The release of beta level games started to happen when DLC content was offered. This happened less when consoles weren't connected to the internet and games weren't able to receive updates.

EA is king at releasing unfinished shit. I refuse to buy EA games. Fallout New Vegas was released with a ton of bugs.
