So how do you like it so far?

The phone itself is definitely a true successor to the original nexus 5. Aside from the updated processor, specs, finger print scanner, and slightly bigger size it's pretty much the same phone. That's a good thing IMO. I like the idea of a phone being basic and simple. It does what you want and doesn't annoy you in the process. Lets hope that it lasts longer than my original nexus 5.

Fi so far is great. It has more features and less fees than a traditional provider. It will save me at least $30 a month for better coverage and more features. For me the choice was very easy. This phone will pay for itself in 6 months because of the Fi savings alone.

The fact that it's a Nexus makes it all the better IMO. Better support and faster updates direct from google means you always have the latest and greatest version of android in the form that google intends.

I love what Nexus and now Fi stand for. It's efficient and clean. It's a great price with no hidden fees and contracts. It gives you everything you want without forcing extra shit you don't want.

I love feeling like I got a great deal for a great product and that's exactly how I feel with Nexus and Fi. So yea, I'd say I'm pretty happy all around.

P.S. Yes the dining room light has some lights out. It's on purpose. With all the bulbs in it's like a spotlight even with low watt bulbs. :P

Scrum, smart lock voice with "OK Google" is great. If you don't have voice recognition on you will still have to unlock the phone if you say OK Google to ask for the weather for example. But with it on you can unlock your phone with voice. So for example I can ask my phone from across the room what the weather is and it will tell me without me having to go unlock it. This would also work with smart lock location or "safe place".

I also use it to launch apps like Pandora when I am driving so I don't have to get my hands off the wheel.

Do you use smart lock device as in it senses your car or do you use voice? I like voice because in smart lock "safe place" anyone in that safe place can get into your phone. Voice is just a little more secure IMO though I'm sure it can be fooled.

I've had this stuff for a year on my phone now. I remember how much you talked about your phone being better, but seems it just wasn't.

Oh well, it sucks having to wait for a phone....been there many times.

Rado smart lock is not a new feature. My old phone had this. I'm having a discussion with scrum about smart lock based on "always on OK Google" which again your phone does not have. If you don't understand something try not to confuse the thread.
