I am currently train 2 females now you will only get constructive criticism and honest opinions (brutally at times). Most of us have significant others and or take bodybuilding/training seriously no need to worry.
can you talk about your goals?
Goals. Welp, I want to be nicely built. Fitness Competition ready i guess would be a good example.
I have had the most trouble with just STICKING with it! Once i get rolling, im good, but then something happens and i end up "taking a break" and well, we all know how that ends up! For example, last year i hit it hard for 6 months, looking good feeling good. Then something happened, i got depressed and quit everything i worked so hard for. I gave up. And now i am kicking myself in the ass trying to figure out how NOT to do that again!
How does everyone just keep going even if life gets in the way? Im not making excuses but dude, im at an awe with people who work out 3 hours a day every single day for YEARS!

The gym is a way for me to deal with everyday life. I would get moody if I didn't go. And no need to spend 2-3 hours there. If I take longer than 45 minutes I'm pissing around or talking too much. Get in do some work and I'm out!Originally posted by yotagrl View PostHow does everyone just keep going even if life gets in the way? It takes me a good 1-1.5 hours to do my routines alone (well it did when i was going!!). I start with 10 mins of cardio, then depending on the day, back/bis, chest/tris, or leg day. (I absolutely LOVE leg day!!) and i always add abs to every routine, everyday.

I think the general consensus is that is too long. I workout for around 45 mins and hit the sauna.Originally posted by yotagrl View PostIt takes me a good 1-1.5 hours to do my routines alone (well it did when i was going!!). Yea, if your telling yourself you need to be in the gym 2-3 hours and your having motivation issues maybe that's why. Your already tired and the thought of 3 hours in the gym just makes you think "ahh fuck it".
Headphones on, don't talk to anyone. Intense workout, get in and get out. 3 hour workouts are no benefit to anyone.
