Welcome to SM. I can find it hard to stay motivated when working out for long periods of time as well. What helps for me is to reduce the time and increase the intensity. Try to get the same amount of work in an hour that you were doing in two. It is a lot easier when it isn't taking as much time from your daily life. Also as Chadd had mentioned music helps.

Working out 2 hours a night and raising 5 kids... I think you must be ok in the energy department to handle all of that.

But I feel so much better after I make myself go to the gym. Start it today. Force yourself to go to the gym and each day after that it gets a little easier. Only tip I can give besides self motivation is music. Crank the music on the way to the gym and turn up the volume on the headphones at the gym!

Ooph i dont miss the baby stages at all!! Thanks for the ideas! I know music helps! Little Five Finger Death Punch always gets me going!!

Why does she need to post a pic with her name on it? Does it really matter?

Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to do an intro post! As you probably have gathered by now, we like to kid each other a lot and there's a lot of banter between people who have been on this board a long time, well over 10 years in many cases, so don't be put off by it.

can you talk about your goals?
