    Hi. I am new to this whole online community of working out and getting some motivation. Figured I jump on to get back in the swing of things. I was on another site and apparently was on the site because all the men pushed me away and told me that this would be the correct one for women. If thats not true please tell me now so i can leave.

    I know working out and women are an odd thing, BUT i do some and know its not really a rarity. Anyways, my diet and routine are fine. Lots of water veggies and protein. I work out for 2 hours a night.

    A little about myself. I am married with 5 kids. I am 33. I have been lifting weights on and off for about 3-4 years now. I figured maybe joining a site would keep me on track again as I have been lazy for the past few months. Any tips or ideas to keep a busy mother motivated would be helpful. Also any ideas to keep the energy up? Thanks

    Thanks for posting an introduction. You look amazing. I'm a father of 4 so I know the challenges that come along with being a parent. Thankfully I have a wife who supports me working out and staying in shape. That's huge! Does your husband give you that time throughout the week? If you need a slap of motivation you came to the right site. We do try and hold each other accountable and we also do a lot of ball busting as I'm sure you already aware. Welcome!

      Ooph! I made a typo in that paragraph! It should have said "it was the wrong site to be on" lol.

      Anyways, he used to help me out by being my personal trainer. He is a Marine and was very helpful. I think he has lost the motivation just as much as i have. But i have goals i want to achieve, with or without his help. Maybe if i just start going to the gym or working out at home he will follow suit.

        I'm glad my wife doesn't go to the gym. I love her but that's my "ME" time. She enjoys running so I make sure she has that time to herself also. Don't wait for your husband to go to the gym to work on your goals. Start on them today! Get yo butt to the gym girl! :D

              Lmao Im in Northern Arizona. Theres a lot of women who do pound, buti, and all the trendy workout gigs but not a lot of women who actually lift weights to become muscular. Thats my goal. Possible fitness competition.

                  Yeah i always say to myself "im going tonight!" But when tonight comes around im so freakin tired from workin 10 hours at the auto shop we own. Thats why i need pointers for energy? How does everyone keep on keepin on? I just want to fall face first when i get home!

                      I have a 8 month old who has no idea what it means to sleep at night. Some nights he's up 10 times. The past couple months have been exhausting to say the least. But I feel so much better after I make myself go to the gym. Start it today. Force yourself to go to the gym and each day after that it gets a little easier. Only tip I can give besides self motivation is music. Crank the music on the way to the gym and turn up the volume on the headphones at the gym!
