  • Anavar Diary- 1st Cycle

    I figured I would start a diary of a 1st time cycle of Anavar.

    I'll start with my history so we can see how Anavar works.

    Age:18
    Weight: 130.4lb
    Lean Body Mass 109lb
    Body fat 17%
    Lifting since March 2013 but lifting to compete since October 2013.

    Squat 205lbx8
    Bench 135lbx8
    Dead Lift 135lbx8
    Dumbbell curls 25lbx8
    Lat pull downs 135lbx8

    I am 19 days out from my first Physique show. So I haven't been able to lift heavy to my potential. But I plan on testing out Anavars ability with muscle gains while cutting down.

    Diet is as this

    8am- shakeology with 20 oz almond milk
    10am- 4 oz 99% lean ground turkey, 1 cup vegetables & ½ grapefruit
    12pm- 5 oz 99% lean ground turkey, 1 cup vegetables
    2:30pm- 4 oz 99% lean ground turkey, 1 cup vegetables
    5pm- 5 oz 99% lean ground turkey, 1 cup vegetables & 4-6 strawberries, 1tsp virgin coconut oil
    7pm- 4 oz 99% lean ground turkey, 2 egg whites, 1 tsp coconut oil

    Supplements will follow like this:
    6am- 1000mg l carnitine, 1 capsule cellucor super hd, 5mg anavar
    10am-25 mg 7-keto, fish oil
    12pm-1000mg l carnitine, 7 keto
    2:30pm-7 keto, fish oil, 1 capsule cellular super hd
    5pm-1000mg l carnitine, 7 keto, 5mg anavar

    Workout schedule follows as this for the next two weeks:
    6am- 15 minute stepper, 30 minutes elliptical or treadmill
    Lifting- will be a circuit done Mon, Wed, Fri.
    Nonlifting days- Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun will be 45 morning cardio & 30 minutes evening cardio
    after lifting- 20 minutes stepper

    I started 5mg Anavar at 4pm on 06-07-2014

    06-08-2014: 5mg Anavar at 8:30am empty stomach; 4:44 pm- 5mg Anavar semi empty stomach
    I did not notice any changes or side effects of Anavar. My face has no acne on it and I slept great.

    5mg Anavar at 6am.

    Cardio was intense. Energy seemed to be strong even though I slept roughly 6 hrs. I sweated a ton.
    Stomach started to hurt around 9am ish? Not sure if its because my body is hungry after I get my shakeology in.

    10am meals seems to be helping with my stomach pains. I will follow up with how my circuit goes tonight.

      Var will give you a lil stomach discomfort, maybe eat lil after even if just aminos.

      Stick with it n keep diet right on.

              Ok. So I took the Var 5mg at 4:30 yesterday and worked out at 6:30.
              I had to do a full body circuit ( coach wants me to, but I will no longer be using that coach for the remainder of my prep so bye bye full body circuits ) anyhow, I could I felt a lil stronger and defiantly am starting to cut ( new diet or baby start of use of var?! ) my biceps were really noticeably different. I crushed the workout without getting winded which was something I struggled to do when my (Ex) coach showed me it Saturday evening.


              I woke up took the 5mg before fasted cardio on an empty stomach with all the other supps I take. I sweated more then normal on my morning cardio, which could be from the Cellucor Super HD Fat burner I take now.

              But I have not noticed any other strange symptoms, the stomach ache went away after I ate food yesterday. I don't have one today.


              My new coach is changing my diet to the following
              Meal 1: 25g protein, 25g carb, 10g fat
              Meal 2:25g protein, veggies, 10g fat
              Meal 3:25g protein, veggies, 10g fat
              Meal 4: 25g protein, 25g carb, 10g fat
              Meal 5:25g protein, 25g carb, 10g fat
              Meal 6: 25g protein, 25g carb, 10g fat

              With that he gave me along list of different foods I can play around with on eating! ( YAY! No more chicken and green beans for every meal! )

              The list is as follows

              Carbs
              4oz red potato
              ¼ cup cream of rice
              1 slice brown rice bread
              1 slice ezekiel bread
              ½ ezekiel cinnamon raison english muffin
              ½ brown rice english muffin
              1 brown rice wrap
              1 oz brown rice pasta
              ¼ cup grits
              ½ cup oats
              1 packet lower sugar oats
              4 oz sweet potato
              4 oz white potato
              ½ cup jasmine rice
              *fruit when told to eat

              Protein
              3.5 oz chicken breast
              4oz lean beef ( 96%)
              4oz ground turkey
              8 egg whites
              1 scoop whey isolate
              5oz lean fish
              1 can tuna

              Veggies
              *any green

              Fats
              16 almonds
              16 walnuts
              16pecans
              16 cashews
              1tb natural pb
              ½ tb olive oil
              1tb almond butter
              2oz avocado
              1/2tb coconut oil

              Codiments
              walden farm dressing
              maple grove sugar free dressing
              walden farm bbq sauce
              mustard
              soy sauce
              splenda
              stevia
              cinnamon
              any seasoning
              zero calorie butter spray

              Drinks
              diet soda
              green tea
              diet tea
              hot tea
              coffee
              crystal lite
              mio
              powerade zero
              vitamin water zero
              *anything zero calorie


              I am very content with these foods

                Any PRE-Workout/ Fat Burner/ Creatine/ or Multivitamin?

                  creatine is plan monohydrate 5000 gnc namebrand 1 tsp b4 lifting
                  multivitamins are the kids chewables

                      Ok. My internet has been down so I haven't been able to update this like I wanted to.

                      06-10-2014 I met with a new coach in person and he has me lifting heavy and doing 2low carb days with one high carb day. I had a quick workout with him and I noticed a big difference in my biceps, they seemed more pronounced and easily became more pumped...

                      06-11-2014 was my 1st low carb day.. I felt like I was stuffing myself full of food all day but my new coach says I was only getting in 180 protein, 0 carb & 55 fat... But I felt so much better... Legs was brutual.. I have to slowly work myself back into lifting heavy because of my previous coach making me lift light for the last 10 weeks... But I feel more energy and my muscles I think are starting to harden some... I measured at 15.9% body fat yesterday before I did my cardio... I willbe getting a bod pod body fat test done the 19th of this month...

                      06-12-2014 I took my 5mg before cardio this morning and I feel great... Energy is up by a lot.. My cardiovascular during radio is different.. I feel like I am breathing better ( I read somewhere anavar helps with that?) no side effects yet.. My body seems to be doing well with the 10mg a day.. I will post later how shoulders goes...

                          06-13-2014 yesterday's workout was definitely an increase in strength and I can see noticeably changes in my definition in my legs .

                          My energy seems up from when I started anavar which I am not sure why. I am not experiencing any side effects yet...My appetite seems increased but that could be from switching my diet up or the increase in my weights without doing the full body circuit ...

                            Yesterday 06-14-2014. I did a light leg session but my strength is up even when I was doing high reps for legs.

                            Today I took off for active rest and shopped and walked a park trail.

                            still at 5mg in the am & 5mg in the pm.

                            no side effects yet, sometimes an upset stomach at night or in the morning if I don't get food in me within 1 hr after I take the var, but energy and sex drive seem drastically up. No acne , etc. I am noticing that I am cutting quicker and that I am off the 'plateau" my ex coach said I was on.

                            Compeition is in 13 days now.
