Need a new phone

Frankly, I have no idea how you big phone fans can hold one. The 5X is a half inch taller than my 2nd gen Moto X and it is already at the upper end of usability for me.

Screw that. The HTC One X is at the lower end of the usability range for me and the 5X is at the upper end. Anything larger or smaller doesn't cut it.

Update: 11:25pm and the battery is at 40%. VERY impressive.

I wanted to test the Doze effectiveness, so I didn't plug the phone into the charger when I went to bed last night.

I put the phone down at 1am when I went to bed. Phone charge was 31%.

When I woke up at 615 am this morning, charge was 30%.

More than 5 hours of idle time and the charge goes down by freaking 1%.

Unreal. Look at the graph. Essentially flatlined from 1am to 6am.

9:18am, down to 13%. So, I decided to plug it in for rapid charging. I'm trying to check how much time it takes to get up to 100%.

9:31 - 31%. So, 18% in 13 minutes. Not a bad charging rate.

Tracking still says "departed Chicago on the 18th". I'm convinced its coming over the mountains by mule train.

10:52 - done charging. So, about 1.5 hours for full charge. Hmm. I was hoping it would be even faster than that. But not bad, I guess.

Scrum have you used the WiFi assistant feature? Where fi automatically connects to free hi quality WiFi?

Yeah, the feature is on by default, but it hasn't helped too much because most of the WiFi I have encountered requires a password. it does pop up the menu, so it makes it easier to connect.

Have you done calls and text over WiFi? Any issues with call quality?

No problems. Most of the calls have been crystal clear but I don't use my phone to make calls too much, so I probably have made/taken a half dozen calls at most. No problems seen.

Some shit show over at FedEx. Pack hasn't moved since yesterday and now says Thurs for delivery...
