One thing I think is important in reaching goals is to remembers your base. Work, responsibilities and relationships come first, without these you don't have the luxury of training our your not as.content. I've been pushing harder lately but i don't push any of the.above to one side, to do so just stores A problem that will blow up in your face.

Everything requires a balance. Sometimes that's the most difficult part.Originally posted by Mr incredible View Postthanks for the encouragement bro.

So many people throw the kitchen sink at it and burn out because other stuff ' gets in rner way' often this is because they were tooo focused and neglected other things. This gamer is a marathon not a.sprint, and by taking care of your other stuff also you can be stress free unburdoned and better.focused training etc. Works for me anywayOriginally posted by blm View PostEverything requires a balance. I tend to focus on something and forget about everything else. I realize it is a huge flaw but its hard to change when focusing only on yourself feels so good sometimes. Kind of puts you in a position where nobody can bother you or hurt you etc..Originally posted by Mr incredible View PostSo many people throw the kitchen sink at it and burn out because other stuff ' gets in rner way' often this is because they were tooo focused and neglected other things. This would also be my natural instinct and hence why I made the point of the effort I make to not do this, to be patient, and balance, because it pays off.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View PostI admit, I am not good at this. It's easy to get consumed in the process when you are looking ahead and fiercely focusing on the goal. I think we're all guilty of it; in some form or fashion.
Like driving a long distance; you get so focused on your end stop you might miss the sights along the way.
You have to make a conscious effort to stop and enjoy life.

^ exactly, when you passionate about something its hard to hold back, but counter intuitively, this actually makes me more consistent overall.
The other thing now I've been training many years is listening to your body, and training intuitively. Example, if I feel my.body its wound too tight or micro tear, I.don't do the same routine as last time, think my way round it instead of blind faith thst effort will overcome.
